On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our pleasure to cordially invite you to participate in the 3rd International Science Symposium on HIV & Infectious Diseases (ISSHID), to be held on 12-14, October 2019 at Sri Ramachandra Instiute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), Porur, Chennai. ISSHID 2019 was conceptualized based on the grand success of the earlier events that offered expanded scientific program by Nobel Laureate and eminent speakers around the world.
This symposium brings together leading national and international speakers to provide updates on the various aspects of HIV and other infectious diseases that include sexually transmitted infections, tuberculosis, viral hepatitis, etc., All presented abstracts in the symposium will be published in PubMed indexed journal, BMC Infectious Diseases and we thank the journal publisher for the same.
We are sure that, this 3-day symposium will offera stimulating scientific environment and provide a platform for the participants to exchange ideas, establish research collaboration and networking in the field of infectious diseases.
Chennai is a coastal city with the second longest beach in the world. Hope you will have the opportunity to see some beautiful sites in and around Chennai during your stay.

Research abstracts in the following broad fields are invited:
- HIV / AIDS
- Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
- Tuberculosis (TB)
- Viral hepatitis
- Other infectious diseases including various viral, bacterial, fungal and parastitic infections.
Abstracts (under the category of Basic Science, Clinical Science, Case Reports, Social & Behavioural Science, Epidemiology/Public Health and Translational Research)submitted must be original and must not have been previously published elsewhere. The submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific review committee of the symposium and selected abstracts will be notified to the presenting author. The best presentations / posters will be selected for prize awards. Abstracts submitted without registration will not be considered.
